This Week’s South Florida Foreclosure Statistics

There have been 6,472 foreclosures filed in South Florida thus far in 2012, a 36 percent increase over the 4,761 foreclosures filed during the same period in 2012. For the week ending March 2, 953 foreclosures were filed in the three counties, with 420 of them coming Broward County compared to 233 and 300 filings in Miami-Dade and Palm Beach counties, respectively.
